Hi Everyone,
Well a lot has happened since my last update so here it goes
The first of the year I was out of work because of my back. I was out for three weeks. It was great to rest up, but after 3 weeks, I was begging the Dr to release me so I could go back to work. This place was driving me crazy. In the middle of the 3 weeks, Courtney and her boyfriend moved in. Ray wouldn't let them move in and share a room, so Dalton has a room mate, as I was not going to give up my craft room. It has been working out ok. Courtney has finally gotten a job. Not a great one, but anything is better than nothing. I really hope she goes back to school.
Jeffrey (Courtney's boyfriend, Dalton's roommate), loves Dalton and spends a lot of time with him. On the days we work, Dalton is with Jeffrey. He takes him fishing all the time. I have fish in my feezer. Dalton caught 14 fish the other day.
Megan is still in her little world. It has gotten better, all she wants is a cell phone. Since she has gotten that, she has been happy. I do have to take it away from here from time to time, as she thinks it is a part of her body.
While I was out with my back, I learned a new craft, Iris Folding. Examples are all the pictures from last month, and I will post new ones. I am trying to get a craft store going, So I spend a lot of time in my craft room, just making things and tryin to find new cute things to make..........I also have a photbucket page. http://s494.photobucket.com/albums/rr309/countrycrafter_dee/

ON a different note, Ray and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. WOW!!!!!! Ray and Jan took us out to eat. We met them and ate at the Japaneese Grill. It was wonderful. That was during the 3 weeks I was out of work, so getting out of the house was good enough. After eating, we went to their house and just sat and visited. I miss our family get to gethers. I wish we did it more often.

New Crafts

Ok, for those of you that know me, I am into all kinds of crafts. My new challange is Iris Folding, and Tea bag Folding. I have been on the internet for almost a week now, (since I have been in bed, due to my back) and I have done so much research on these two iteams. I am totally amazed as to what is on the internet and how many different crafts there are. You can expect a lot of postings here with my creations. I did a golf bag earlier and will take a picture and post tomorrow.

I made the cake with no pattern, guess you could say I designed it.....this stuff is great

Christmas 2008

I was so excited this year for Christmas. I spent a lot of time getting ready as I made all the gifts this year. I tried to think of things each person liked and I made it. From soap, to chocolate covered spoons, to aprons and even blankets based on that individuals interests. I was also excited because this was our first Christmas with Aidan, and he is so funny!

As we always do, we spent Christmas Eve with Ray Sr. Jan, Janette, Will and of course "little man" Aidan.

Then Christmas Day we had a nice quiet day at home. We did the Christmas under the tree, then it was a restful day for me. Everyone played with their gifts and I did NOTHING! (hehehe)

lets try this

Well, I am following in Janette's footsteps, I am going to try this. It looks like a fun way to stay connected and help family members keep up to date on family happenings. I will have to start taking more pictures, and spending even more time on the internet......hehehe
I will be posting updates, and pictures of our activities, our pets, and who knows what else there is.

I think my next post will be looking back on the last 11 years with Ray. I feel we have a story book kind of love/relationship and I want to share with everyone how much I love him and how much I am thankful for him and what he has done for me, and given me. But for now, I will get this posted and begin "the blog" thing. I am depending on all of you to leave comments, cause if I don't get comments, I will lose interest and probably stop doing it........
